Race Divisions
Wissota Late ModelThe WISSOTA Late Model division is the top class at the Shawano Speedway. These cars have a minimum wheelbase of 104” and a 4” maximum ground clearance. They may be as light as 2,500 pounds. They have quick-change rear ends for easy gear changes and may run gas or alcohol. These cars will turn laps under 22 seconds on the half-mile clay oval. |
Forms & Rules Driver Info Forms ALL REGULAR PROGRAMS START AT 6:00 P.M. Wissota Late Models, Fastrak Late Models, IMCA Modifieds, IMCA Northern Sport Modifieds and IMCA Stock Cars. The Shawano Speedway is proud to have AMSOIL come aboard as a product sponsor. AMSOIL products will be given out to drivers. We would also like to give a BIG THANK YOU to all of our racers & pit crews for putting on a great show every week and to the fans for supporting the Shawano Speedway and all the drivers.

Fastrak Late ModelThe Limited Late Model division is where drivers prepare themselves for advancement to the Late Model Division. These cars run on a 108” wheelbase with a minimum of 3,000 pounds for V-8 engines. They must have stock appearing noses and spoilers. These full-bodied cars must also have passenger car rear ends. |

IMCA ModifiedsThe IMCA Modified division is nationally sanctioned. It is an intermediate level class which competes not only at Shawano but throughout the state producing large fields of cars in Shawano. The minimum wheelbase on these cars is 108” and they may not have wings or spoilers |

IMCA Sport ModsThe IMCA Northern Sport Mod division is an affordable division designed to help drivers get behind the wheel with minimum expense. These cars are nationally sanctioned by IMCA and race on tracks throughout the U.S. |

IMCA Stock CarsThe IMCA Stock Car Division is an affordable division designed to help drivers get behind the wheel with minimum expense. These cars are nationally sanctioned by IMCA and race on tracks throughout the U.S. The division allows for minor modifications to the chassis and engines. |
